Spidey has been hard at work lately on a War Machine suit. I have some pics, so I figured I'd post 'em up, give others a few ideas on possiblities for construction...
Firstly, quick, easy and cheap gauntlets. Begin by putting you arm inside a plastic grocery bag and wrap it up with masking tape. One you have a decent start, you can cut it off and retape the cut and continue building it up. You'll still want the gap so you can get you arm in and out.
He finished these with black rubber coating which comes in many makes and varieties. He used Plasti-Dip, the most common.
Now, on to his breast plate. We started with a chicken wire frame and tapes the back up and then fiberglassed it. Now, he's busy carving and sanding to form.
