To zone away from the Avengers movie a little bit I have just gone and saw the most recent Marvel movie X-MEN Origins: Wolverine. Before I could watch that I watched the first movie in the double feature Night at the Museum 2, very funny and 2 thumbs up I might add. That is besides the point. Now as for the movie at hand. The new X-MEN installment was a Very cool movie. Stan Lee and team took Logan from a child, James Howlett, to the man we all know from the comics, Logan/Wolverine. We also meet is wife, as well as other mutants. The other mutants are recognized as Gambit, The Blob, Experiment XI a.k.a. Deadpool, Cyclops, plus many more. the movie starts very slow but after 15 minutes it is action packed from then on. In his returning role as Logan/Wolverine, Hugh Jackman, is joined by the only returning actor from the original X-MEN movies Patrick Stewart as none other than Professor X. If you wanted to spend some quality time with the family try to hit this movie. I give it 4 thumbs up (2 actual thumbs and 2 big toes). It is a must see Marvel movie.

I agree. I've seen the movie as well, and I thought it was well done and highly entertaining.
Now, don't get me wrong...I've heard gripes like "Sabertooth isn't Wolverine's brother" and a few about Gambit, but even those making the complaints conceded in the end that even with the tweaking of the comic continuity, it is, plainly put, frakkin' awesome. It takes you from his first discovery of his powers right up to being in Canada to set up the first X-MEN film and yet still leaves room for future stories and films.
Of note is that a second Wolverine film is planned as well as a Deadpool spinoff. Already. I'm sure this will help the chances of the proposed X-MEN ORIGINS: Magneto film actually getting made as well.
