I checked it out and he does fit the role of Thor perfectally. He has only been acting for 3 years and that might hurt him going up against actors like Brad Pitt, Gerard Butler and Viggo Mortensen. You also have to remember that there are other established "wrestlers" here in the states they may consider for the role also. Granted they have only done 1 maybe 2 movies a piece but they may still may be considered for the role.

Marvel says no WWE wrestlers as Marvel Heroes. So, no Triple H as Thor (Thank god for that)

Marvel says no WWE wrestlers as Marvel Heroes. So, no Triple H as Thor (Thank god for that) You can say that again. The only wrestle that can do any type of acting was The Rock. Wrestlers should stick to what they do best and thats wrestle. Triple H bombed in Blade, Kennedy bombed in Behind Enemy Lines Colombia (as well as wrestling), Cena wasn't that bad in his first movie The Marine and his next movie seems promising. Anyway wrestlers need to stay in the ring not on the big screen as Marvel hero's like Thor, Captain America, and so on.

He has a lot on his plate as for movies for the 2010-2011 filming season. I haven't seen any of is work for full movies. Seen him on commercials for Star trek thats about it. He doesn't look Big enough to play a role like THOR. Hope he doesn't fudge it up and make THOR out to be a Neanderthal.

It's great he has the role but I hope he doesn't pull a Christian Bale. Christian plays a good Batman but does the ugliest voice for Batman ever. I don't want the same to happen with Thor.
