Right on. The upper body portion of this armor is nearly finished. It'd be awesome to be able to debut this whole rig at Infinity Wars.

Well upon experimenting with these plastic sheets I have found that they are very brittle. Easy to work with, but very brittle. I will play around with them some more and see what I can do with them.

No big deal then, man. The star is acceptable as is for now.
Perhaps the plastic sheets might work for a base for resin/fiberglassing, however, for other projects?

The shoulder stars, pre-assembled... Assembled and attached to the armor... The red discs were cut from a Folger's coffee can and the stars were iron on applique I found at Wally World. I super-glued them on though as I highly doubt ironing onto plastic would work out. The discs are riveted on and then the stars were glued over it to cover the rivets.

I have figured out a way to make the chest star. Instead of a 5 piece star it will turn into a 10 piece star. When I first made the star on a trial run it worked perfectly until i went to bend the center to get the arch and it snapped. So in turn I have figured out a way to make the star as a 10 piece and make it just as durable as my original thought. Will post pics soon.

Sounds elaborate, but it will be very simple to do.

Ok so now that all the parties and birthdays are done for now I can concentrate on the shield and chest star for Cap's new armor.

Good. Looking forward to rocking this uniform out at Infinity Wars! I do believe I'm the first to make the movie uniform so far.

Resined the mask and used the cloth on the interior. I'll probably do a few more layers on the outside, perhaps even a bit of rondo and then on to sanding.

The mask/helmet warped during the resining process so it will need quite a bit of work to try and get it into a usable shape. For Infinity Wars I'll just use the mask I usually wear for games.
I finished turning the boot covers into gaiters last night. I'll take pics at some point soon.

Both of the above are from Infinity Wars. I'll have more when Hulk uploads them off his camera.
